Since 11/17 over 14 rentals properties in Princeton have gone under contract or settled. It is a good upswing for the Princeton Rental Market to end the year on.
What are my Projections for 2015…?
- Interest rates will increase in 2015 (slowly)
- Overall inventory for prime rental properties in Princeton will still be low
- Rental prices overall will increase again in 2015
- Tenants are looking earlier in the year and we will see the peak renting season shift from August to early June.
- Tenants will be more demanding and want more amenities from landlords
- Tenants as well as buyers will continue to want to be in the ‘downtown area’ of Princeton. Landlords with properties in this area will see the strongest demand.
